I love letting kids steer their activities, and let their imagination run wild! I like implementing sensory boxes/activities, and books are a favorite of mine! I think it is important to spend time outside, learning about plants, animals, and how to care for all of the beautiful things around us.

The most important thing about being a nanny to me, is patience and compassion. There is always a reason for the behaviors; I believe its my job to get on their level and try to understand what they are feeling.

One of my favorite things to do is introducing American Sign Language into learning activities. I've found it to be a great tool to not only learn a new language, but also practice hand-eye coordination. I love to see kids slowly open up to ASL and after a few days of ASL ABCs, they're moving their hands right along with mine. Its amazing to watch how quickly kids absorb information and how willing they are to learn!
