My goal is always to create a positive environment where they can have fun while also knowing they’re in the care of someone responsible and attentive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel the most important thing about being a nanny is connecting with the family and the child. It is a big step and responsibility too take care of someone else’s child, especially with everything going on in the world. I want families to be able to put their little ones care in my hands worry free and not think twice while at work or just handling whatever needs to be handled.

My experience with special needs children...

I have personal experience working with children with autism, as I’ve helped care for my cousin since he was born. Through the years, I’ve learned the importance of patience, understanding, and calm communication. When he would have moments of frustration or difficulty expressing himself, I would sit with him, talk gently, and give him the time he needed to feel safe and understood. I’ve found that staying calm is key—children on the spectrum often pick up on our energy, and if we become overwhelmed, it can make things harder for them. It’s so important to create a supportive environment where they feel heard, respected, and can express themselves at their own pace.
