Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love making crafts and sensory learning time, coloring and painting. Dance time, fun experiments. Reading circle. I REALLY enjoy making learning more of a game then a job for young children because you want to keep them interested and willing to absorb especially since at a young age they tend to lose interest real easily.
The most important part about being a nanny...
In my opinion there are several important aspects that go into being a nanny, but one that stands out is the way you choose to influence and teach children. They are like sponges and absorb everything they see and hear so it is vital to always give them positivity and support because if you are impatient or careless with your own behavior then that can affect the way they feel or behave themselves. So how you care for them and influence their behavior and emotions is very important.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with children with Autism and ADHD.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I allowed my kids to each grow their own flowers from seeds and watching how excited they would get when they saw their plants they started from a seed growing and getting to learn how to care for something on their own I loved that! I have so many great memories but growing bonds with every child and watching all of them start to grow into their own little personality and express themselves is truly a award in itself because I was happy to have a hand in that even if it was just a small one!

Live-In Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Metter, GA: Brenda K.
I was a nurse for 20 years and have retired from this career.
have been incredibly fortunate to work in a variety of nursing roles throughout my career. My
experience includes hospital nursing, teaching in a school nursing program, providing
compassionate end-of-life care through hospice, working remotely in the insurance industry, and
ultimately achieving my goal of becoming an Emergency Room nurse.
As I enter a new season of life, I have realized there are other ways I would like to spend my
time, contribute to my community, and find fulfillment. While nursing has been both meaningful
and rewarding, it can also be emotionally demanding. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities
I have had to serve others through healthcare and for experiences that shaped me along the way.
I also raised 3 amazing boys of my own.
I would love to provide care, help, and support to other moms and dads. To provide any help in the home as well as with the children. A modern day Mary Poppins.
