I have taught art to all ages from ages 0-3 mom and me, preschool, elementary, middle, high, and adults. I also have taught English and ESL. As a wilderness leader, I was trained in the backcountry of the Grand Canyon which required Wilderness First Responder certification. I love to combine art, nature, language, and culture in my teaching and in life!

Making art projects, the joy of seeing kids explore a new media or express themselves it priceless! I think about clay and paint, both are squishy! I also love to read a book (or make a story!) and then do art, visual art, musical art, or performance art. All ages including babies love art! My own baby listened to "Baby Eisenstein" and he ended up singing at Red Rocks, Coors Field, with the Denver Symphony, Lone Tree Symphony, and going on a UK tour before he graduated high school! He also actively played. I believe children need creative play time and time outside. Art is power and its a great balance in life to be able to enjoy a creative activity and learn technical skill in expression.
