My experience just in the past couple of years is as follows: I cared for an infant starting at 6 months old; the job lasted for 6 months. Because then the mother changed her job and worked at a daycare/school so she took her son with her. I took great care of him; fed him, introducing him to baby food etc. I taught him to roll over on the floor, crawl, stand on furniture, and start walking around furniture. I spent time with him, that’s what I’m paid to do, and I enjoy it. I still see him and enjoy it. I also cared for 3 children ages 2, 4, and 6. The youngest is a girl, the other 2 are boys. I prepared all their meals, potty trained the youngest, light cleaning, monitor playtime outdoors, naptime for the youngest. Other things as requested. I cared for them for a semester of school while their dad attended school and at other times occasionally. I was a live in nanny for 3 children ages 8, 11, 14. I prepared all the meals, got them off the school on school days. I took them to extracurricular activities, managing their schedules, dropping off and picking up, and staying if I could. Managing chores, making sure they bathed and went to bed at a reasonable time. I assisted them with homework and school projects. I did a summer school program with them as they needed extra help with academics. I home schooled my son so I have materials to do it and it’s easy for me. My son was 14 at the time but a grade ahead of himself. I did the grocery shopping for the house and the cooking. I did the laundry for the children and the house cleaning. I basically did everything, their mother worked full time 12 hour days and other things. When she was home the kids still out of habit came to me, and she still wanted me to do things for them she didn’t cook either. I did that for 1 & ½ years. I have cared for other children also but this goes back to Dec 2008. I also have raised 2 children of my own, my daughter is now 21 and my son is now 16. I home schooled him since 8th grade until this year. He is a senior and has to attend public school in order to get a diploma from them. It’s a long story. My daughter is a sophomore in college and doing very well. I would love to care for your children I am a very caring, loving, kind person. I will devote all my attention to your children. Contact me for references or if you have any questions. My phone is 720-989-0149. Laurie Jones

I have taken care of my nephew for the last 4 years. His mother used to live with us and worked hellish hours so I was his care provider. I took care of him from infant age until he was 3 and babysat him off and on from then until now. I provided him his meals, diaper changes, baths, clothing etc. He loves the outdoors so I also took him to the park for a few hours each day to get his excersize. I've also been nannying my other niece and nephew for the past 6 months. The two of them are on set schedules as far as meals, nap time, play time etc and we have the best time together. My niece is 5 months and my nephew will be 2 in January. I care for them Monday-Friday 10 hours each day. Along with the two of them and my 5 month old daughter of my own I have all the experience needed to provide excellent nanny care.

Hi! I'm Jordan and I've been working with kids for as long as I can remember! My mom ran a daycare out of our home when I was growing up until I was eight years old and we moved to Colorado. Once we got out here, my older sister started babysitting for a couple with 4 children (ages ranging from newborn to 7 years old) and I would always tag along (always getting put on diaper duty, of course!). At 13 I started babysitting the two girls (4 and 6) that lived in the cul-de-sac behind my house, which then blossomed into various babysitting and pet-sitting jobs throughout the community. A few years into that, I was set up with a family with a two year old who needed a mother’s helper during her second pregnancy, and thus began my first true nanny experience. I stayed with that family until I left for college at 17, and performed various duties ranging from housekeeping, potty training, driving, as well as both short term (4-8 hours) and long term (12-72 hours) babysitting. I became a part of their family, which is what I should hope to do with any family for whom I work.

I have worked with two families in the San Francisco Bay Area over a three year period of time. I am very experienced working with children of multiple ages. My resume also includes time spent as a substitute teacher. During the summer, I have had the opportunity to volunteer as a counselor for a church Girl’s Camp summer program. I am extremely proficient at providing care that has included; shopping, cooking, changing diapers, supervising baths, and educating and amusing the children by reading and taking them on adventures.

1 kid
2 years with nanny

Hi, we are a family and a nanny looking for another family to join our nanny share. A little about us; we have one 22 month little girl named Lucie who loves being out and about and especially loves being outside. She is a joy to be around.

Morgan is our nanny. She has been I working in childcare for over 10 years, starting with babysitting at age 11 and nannying full time for over six years for a variety of wonderful families. She has worked with multiple children at various ages, including a family with a set of twins, for many years.

She also has her Masters degree in Elementary Education but her passion area is working with children in a home environment where learning and development can take place in a more one on one environment and can happen at the child's pace. In addition she is adult and pediatric CPR and first aid certified. She also has her own car and clean driving record and loves going on fun outings and adventures with Lucie. Some of their favorites include the library and gymnastics for open play time.

Ideally, the family we are looking for would have one young toddler or infant and would be willing to commute to the Murphy Creek area as we would love to host. We are looking for someone full-time Mondays-Thursdays since Mom is home with Lucie on Fridays. However, we do have some flexibility with the schedule. We would love to chat with you if being a part of our nanny share is something that you would consider.
