A little bit about me

My name is Ashley and I am a Colorado native. I started working with kids about 13 years ago. When had my son I became really interested in child development and started working part time in child care centers. This is where I ran in to the Montessori method. I realized that a lot of the ideology in Montessori matched my own so I went to get my certification. I worked in the classroom for a couple years, then I decided to nanny full time. I love being able to have the one on one or small group time with the children. I've also been really fortunate to have families that are very receptive and wanted to work together to create an educational and fun experience for the kids during the day. I have expreience with kids up to 12, the majority of that being with those under 6. I've really enjoyed my job and the families I've worked with over the years and hope to find a new one that is interested in a close relationship and working together to help the children grow.
