A little bit about me

Hello,

Hello! My name is Heaven, and I’m currently finishing my last year of undergrad. I am actively seeking a full-time or part-time nanny position, where I can continue to provide the same level of care and attention that has made me successful in the past. Throughout my experience, I have worked with children of all age groups, from infants to adolescents, as well as adults and children with special needs.

I pride myself on being an empathetic, caring, and nurturing individual, qualities that I believe are essential when working with children and families. Whether it's helping with homework, engaging in play, or providing emotional support, I always strive to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment. I understand that every child is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet their individual needs, whether they need extra attention, structured routines, or creative activities.

I look forward to working with you and your children!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve had the privilege of gaining valuable experience working with children in a variety of settings. For about a year after COVID, I led an after-school program in Buffalo, where I planned and facilitated activities that supported children’s learning, creativity, and social development.

In addition, during my freshman year of college, I observed and assisted in a classroom for an entire school year. This experience gave me hands-on exposure to managing a classroom environment, working closely with the teacher, and supporting students in their daily tasks.

Beyond my formal experience, I am the oldest of seven children, which has shaped me in countless ways. Growing up, I took on a natural caregiver role, balancing responsibilities like helping with homework, managing routines, and being a source of guidance and support for my siblings.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I have a passion for creative and engaging activities like coloring, baking, and teaching children new skills. I also enjoy cozy moments like watching movies and finding ways to make learning fun. During the summer, I love spending time outdoors—whether it’s going to the beach, enjoying a scoop of ice cream, or exploring new adventures.

I’m someone who loves trying new things and stepping outside of my comfort zone, and I aim to inspire the same curiosity in the children I care for. Whether it’s introducing them to a new activity, encouraging them to be adventurous, or simply helping them build confidence in trying something different, I’ll always do my best to make every experience exciting and meaningful.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children can thrive. It’s about being someone they can trust and feel comfortable with—whether that means keeping them safe, offering a comforting hug on a tough day, or just making them laugh.

It’s also about consistency and showing up for them, not just physically but emotionally. Kids need structure and stability, but they also need someone who can adapt to their unique personalities and needs. Whether it’s helping them with homework, planning fun activities, or just listening when they need to talk, being a nanny is about being present and genuinely caring for their well-being.

At the same time, communication with the parents is just as important—working together to make sure the child is happy, healthy, and growing. It’s not just a job; it’s about becoming a part of a family and making a difference in their lives

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children diagnosed with autism, ADHD, ADD, bipolar disorder, and other learning or mental health challenges. This has taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and adapting to each child’s unique needs. I strive to create a supportive environment that helps them feel comfortable and confident while fostering their growth and development.

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Buffalo, NY: Sunettee S.

I am a warm, caring, and responsible individual with a natural ability to nurture and support children in their growth and development. Growing up, I helped raise my younger brother, who was born at the onset of my teenage years. This experience taught me invaluable lessons about caregiving, patience, and the importance of creating a loving and supportive environment for children.

As an aunt, I also regularly care for my four nieces and nephew, all under the age of eight, further enhancing my ability to manage schedules, engage children with fun and educational activities, and ensure their well-being. In addition, I worked part-time with children while I was in college, solidifying my passion for childcare and development.

I have continued to develop my organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. These experiences have shaped me into a reliable, nurturing, and compassionate caregiver who values making a positive impact on children’s lives.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Buffalo, NY: Dayona D.

Hi! My Name is Dayona I am 20 years old. I am very experienced with kids especially kids with behavioral problems. My brother got diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 4, i learned overtime how to be patient and how to help him cope woth the emotions he cannot handle. He is now 18, and is very different from what he used to be , very gentle and kind, he no longer lashes out at little things. Around the age of 16 i started babysitting my God children (boy from age 3 to 6 and a half) (girl from newborn to age 3). I would babysit overnight on weekends, i also had school. Around 4 months ago she moved out of buffalo so now i am looking for more work. I graduated highschool not too long ago and can work any job but i know exactly what i want to do. I am really great with kids, i know how to cook, i clean everywhere i go (i do not have OCD) i was raised to do so, if i see a mess clean it. Im very respectful i do not curse around children or my elders! Im great with pets!
