A little bit about me

Hi, I'm Helen. I am a grandmother of a one year old boy and I babysit him on parents night out. I also took care full time of a special needs child for four months. I love to expand the child's interests and allow their imagination to grow. I have a degree in Anthropology, and traveled to Guatemala to learn Spanish. I have volunteered with the Red Cross on three occasions, including Hurricane Katrina, and have taught Greek to adults and children. Most of my professional career has been in retail, but due to the recent health emergency, I am looking for a position to engage with my community, in a safe and loving environment.
