A little bit about me

I have more life experience in caring for others than anything else. I have been caring for babies to adults, including those with special needs for over 12 years. With over 5 years of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) experience and well over 20 years of working with children, I have always had a passion for working with children. Currently, I work with 18-22 year olds who are transitioning from high school to adulthood. We go out into the community to learn routes and attend worksites that give them a platform to use their skills and abilities so that in the future, they could potentially get employment. Additionally, they learn how to make purchases independently and browse places and areas they want to go. I am able to do basic cooking, cleaning, and caring for pets. I also do respite care. The transition program I work at ends on June 3rd. I will be open to other employment opportunities until it reopens in August. I look forward to caring for your loved one/s, how can I help?

My experience with special needs children...

I have a background in behavior therapy (ABA). I worked as a behavior therapist for over two years and work with children/adults with all types of disabilities. Some examples are AD, ADHD, and LSD.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Moments that are my favorite are once the child/ren get comfortable with me, they open up, and their personalities come out. Once that happens, we have fun. We play, laugh, and I enjoy watching them be happy.
