A little bit about me

I have more life experience in caring for others than anything else. I have been caring for babies to adults, including those with special needs for over 12 years. With over 5 years of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) experience and well over 20 years of working with children, I have always had a passion for working with children. Currently, I work with 18-22 year olds who are transitioning from high school to adulthood. We go out into the community to learn routes and attend worksites that give them a platform to use their skills and abilities so that in the future, they could potentially get employment. Additionally, they learn how to make purchases independently and browse places and areas they want to go. I am able to do basic cooking, cleaning, and caring for pets. I also do respite care. The transition program I work at ends on June 3rd. I will be open to other employment opportunities until it reopens in August. I look forward to caring for your loved one/s, how can I help?

"Helga Pangilinan was a wonderful nanny to my two children with special needs. When I was active duty in the Navy, she was flexible with my schedule and catered to my children as if they were her own. She was great about communicating any challenges my children were having (i.e. working through potty training) and did well to address their needs in my absence. I love that she made my children feel safe and comfortable like family. I would highly recommend her, especially if you’re seeking someone you can truly trust."

"Maria has been the most incredible nanny for us for the past year and a half. We are only saying goodbye to Maria because of a necessary work relocation to a new city and honestly losing Maria is the hardest part for us. If we weren't moving out of the area, we would want Maria to be a part of our family for many years to come. Maria is the definition of caring and loving. The bond she has formed with our two children (now 2 and 3 yo) is truly special; she has provided them with a loving secure attachment, has helped them develop and learn, and has always kept them safe, happy and full. Our children run to greet her every morning, and that joy says everything. She is consistently a positive, kind, and loving presence in our home. We feel incredibly lucky to have had her as part of our family for as long as we have."

A little bit about me

Hi my name is Sherry. I recently moved back to San Diego from Tucson, Arizona where I worked as a full-time infant teacher. I loved working with babies and watching them grow and develop. It amazes me how fast they grow from being newborn babies to walking toddlers in their first year of life.
I spent time in the toddler, twos, preschool and pre-k classes when needed, and loved seeing some of the children that started out in my infant class. It is truly a wonderful feeling knowing I helped shape a part of their little lives.
I believe children learn the best when having fun and doing things they enjoy that are age appropriate. I love spending time with them reading, listening to music, singing, pretend play, coloring, painting, puppets, building blocks, blowing bubbles. I also believe children should have outdoor play each day to run and explore their world while using their creative minds.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Micaiah! I am a 20 year old full time college student. I am majoring in Administrative Justice for Transfer in hopes of becoming a Forensic Scientist for the FBI. I currently am fully online so working full time wouldn't be a problem. I am 1 of 8 siblings ranging from 21 to 1 years old. I love being around kids as I feel they see the world in a better light and have no worries, they're truly a breath of fresh air. In my past jobs working with kids, I bonded with the families and began babysitting for them, which I currently still do from time to time.
