More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I graduated college in 2020 peak covid and nannied for a family 1+ year and currently nannying for a family. I babysat for numerous family’s who are my friends or word of mouth who heard of my skills from my time working in Children’s Ministry. I have experience with children ages infant to 11 years old. In high school my sister worked at a daycare that I would volunteer at. When she opened her own daycare I helped her with activity planning and supervising field trips for children of the age infant to 11 years old. Over my years I’ve learned and gained numerous skills to help take care of and understand little ones.

Anything creative! arts and crafts (painting, coloring, DIY from Pinterest, anything you may have in your household), playing outside, going for walks or to the park, playing games and with toys.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I took two brothers (3&5) I nannied for to the park and on a hike. On the hike, we ran into mud, little did I know it was about 1 foot deep and we all got stuck. I was wearing sandals and the boys were crying and no one was around to help! I either had to call the police for help or suck it up and lose my favorite sandals in the mud swamp. The boys are small so half their bodies were covered in mud. I picked them up one by one and walked through the mud swamp to put them down on dry land. I was already dirty so I tried to find my sandal and surprisingly I found it, but wait it wasn’t my sandal!! Someone else had previously been in our predicament and lost their sandal. Thankfully, after a little more digging I was reunited with my shoe. The boys and I went to the creek and rinsed our legs. This part they enjoyed because they loved looking for “creatures”. When their mom got home that day the boys ran up to her screaming “Ms. Hillary saved us!” It was an unforgettable adventure.
