I have experience taking care of cousins, siblings and family friends children, I’ve basically been taking care of children for 7 to 8 years ever since I was 7! Being patient with children builds up trust and create a special a bond between you and the children, if you’re not patient with them it can cause discomfort, a relationship strain between child and caregiver, and can cause emotional distress like frustration and confusion leaving them feeling unheard or undervalued and that can leave you with an upset child.
