A little bit about me

My name is Hope! I’m new to Birmingham but just graduated with my master’s from the University of Alabama. I have extensive experience with kids in a variety of settings - church camp counselor, children’s ministry intern, summer nanny, and youth group. I think kids need the outdoors and space to imagine, and as a nanny, I think playing with kids and encouraging them to enjoy being kids, is my primary role. I love to travel and as a trained anthropologist, I want children (& every person I meet) to learn about the world and different approaches to life when I am with them. Children are the next generation so I hope to not just care with fun and safety, but encourage them to become great people and future leaders.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing any kind of art- painting(mess-free), sculpting, & letting kids get creative. Additionally, I love doing outdoor activities- playing on the trampoline, running through sprinklers, the pool, or just exploring the wonders of a backyard. I also have experience with piano, guitar, and voice and think doing any kind of music with kids is so much fun.
