I am from Colombia and currently improving my English. I am an experienced nanny and early childhood educator with a background in Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches. I am currently working part-time as a nanny and also as a Main Teacher in a Spanish immersion daycare, where I support children’s emotional, social, and creative development.

I have a specialization in creative and alternative therapies and I am currently studying prenatal and postnatal yoga. I also have experience teaching meditation and mindfulness practices for children. I enjoy creating a calm, nurturing, and creative environment where children feel safe and supported.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Working as a part-time nanny for families with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, as well as my current role as a Main Teacher in a Spanish immersion daycare. In these roles, I cared for children’s daily routines, emotional and social development, play-based learning, outdoor activities, meals, naps, and transitions. I also supported mindfulness, creative activities, and positive guidance in group and home settings.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Sensory experiences and creative activities, introductions to music and movement, dance and yoga for children, art activities such as painting, and mindfulness and meditation. I also enjoy teaching Spanish through play, music, and daily routines, as well as movement-based activities inspired by Biodanza.

Building trust and emotional safety, so children feel seen, respected, and confident to be themselves. Creating a nurturing environment where they can grow, explore, and feel supported is at the heart of my work.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was when the children and I dressed up together as characters from their favorite TV show and spent the afternoon playing and laughing in character. Another special moment was when we created a story using photographs we took together, and when we made a simple dance choreography as a surprise for their mom’s birthday. Those moments of creativity, joy, and connection are what I love most about being a nanny.
