More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’m the oldest of my siblings, so I’ve had a lot of experience caring for younger children. During my senior year of high school, I had a shorter school schedule, and since both of my parents worked from home, I would often come home and take care of my younger brother for the rest of the day. I was responsible for keeping him entertained, helping with meals, and making sure he was safe and taken care of.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing fun, hands-on activities with children that keep them active and engaged. I like going to the park, playing games, doing puzzles, arts and crafts, reading, building things, and helping them learn new hobbies. I also enjoy letting kids use their imagination and just have fun being kids!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is making sure the child feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I also want children to have fun, feel heard, and be able to be themselves while I’m around. I want parents to feel comfortable knowing their child is in good hands.
My experience with special needs children...
I have limited experience caring for children with special needs. I’ve had one experience providing care for a child with special needs, and it helped me understand the importance of patience, flexibility, and understanding each child’s individual needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was seeing how excited a child would get whenever I came over. Even when his mom would randomly call me to babysit, I already knew he would be so happy to see me. Seeing how comfortable he was around me and how much he enjoyed having me there always made me happy to babysit.
