I believe keeping a child active throughout their childhood teaches them important life skills like creativity, responsibility, and discipline. Outdoor games like sports, hiking, and scavenger hunts keep a child healthy while also teaching teamwork and curiosity. Indoor activities like arts-and-crafts, reading, and cooking/baking additionally help teach life skills like independence and creativity. In a modern society like today technology is very important to everyday life yet I do believe limiting screen time can improve a child’s development. Of course a few hours of TV or video games is okay in moderation, which can be balanced with other activities.
