A little bit about me

Hello Families,
My name is Imani Davis. I am a 24 year old Case Manager at Volunteers of America, Chesapeake. I work with vulnerable populations with Mental Health Issues. I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in African American studies. My specialization is the psycho social development of children in under served communities. I have worked at multiple summer camps for the last 3 years, serving mostly children ages 5 and under. I am the oldest of seven children so childcare comes naturally to me. I love children and the joy they bring to me and others. I am a product of and believer in the old saying "It takes a village to raise a child." I would love to be a part of your village.

Hi families! My name is Maëlyss, and I’m currently a student at Towson University majoring in Public Health! I have a genuine passion for working with children and creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where they can learn, grow, and feel comfortable being themselves.

I would describe myself as patient, caring, responsible, energetic, and dependable. I love engaging children in creative activities, arts and crafts, educational games, and outdoor adventures. I believe that every child is unique, and I enjoy finding ways to connect with them based on their individual personalities and interests.
