A little bit about me

I currently work in childcare and have my own room at my center that has 8 two year olds in it. I love my job so much but I’m hoping to find something that’s a little less stressful but will still keep me on my toes. Children are my whole world and there is nothing I would rather do. Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors with my dog, watching movies, cooking, baking, and spending quality time with the people I love. I’m very hard working and am always looking for ways to exceed in the position I’m in. I went to culinary school for roughly a year and a half and worked in the food industry for roughly 3 years so cooking a meal is also not an issue for me!

I currently work in childcare at an early learning center. My room is Discovery Preschool which means I work with kids between the ages of 2-3 most of my day. I have been a teacher in that room for 2 months. Prior to that I was a toddler teacher working with kids ages 1-3. I have worked in every room around my center so I have experience with any children under the age of 5. Even though I only have a year of childcare in a professional facility, I babysat for many years before which is what sparked my interest in this field.

I love spending time outside, painting, coloring, reading, and playing with children. Spending time with children in general makes me feel like I’m making a difference in the world and their smiles make it all worth it!
