I have 2 years of childcare experience in the U.S. as an au pair, caring for children ranging from 6 months to 10 years old. I cared for 5-year-old twins, a 6-month-old baby and a 5-year-old, and later three children ages 3, 8, and 10. I also have a diploma in Early Childhood Education from Colombia and experience working as a substitute preschool teacher.

I especially enjoy outdoor activities with children, such as going to the park, playing outside, going for walks, and exploring together. At home, I love doing creative and hands-on activities like arts and crafts, baking, cooking, and other activities that keep them engaged while having fun.

The most important part of being a nanny to me is making sure the child is safe, happy, healthy, and well cared for throughout the day. I want parents to come home knowing that their child is safe, has eaten well, had a good day, and genuinely enjoyed their time with me. I believe childcare is not just about supervision, but also about creating a positive, caring environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and free to have fun and be themselves.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite parts of being a nanny is the funny and unexpected moments that come from spending so much time together. Sometimes children start calling you “Mom” without even realizing it, which is always both funny and sweet. I also love those moments after a little tantrum when they come back for a hug, tell you they love you, or simply show you that they feel safe and comfortable with you. And honestly, one of the funniest parts is when they come to me with the most unexpected questions—sometimes questions I never would have thought of myself!
