I have gained a lot of experience caring for my brothers and lots of cousins. I have also babysat for over 10 families in my community since I was 13 years old. Those experiences have helped me learn more about children and how to best care for them. There have been so many laughs and enjoyable moments, but of course there have also been more challenging times. In difficult situations, I am able to stay calm, discipline as necessary, and work through the situation.

Activities centered around music, dance, crafts, and just being creative in general are my favorite to do with children! I love playing board games, doing puzzles, or learning new things. It's also fun to play with children at the playground, go for walks, or just run around outside. I love getting creative and learning more about what the children are interested in and enjoy doing!

I think the most important part about being a nanny is being a positive, engaging role model to children. As children are growing, they are soaking in everything and watching how those older than them handle situations, behave, and navigate the world. I believe it's important to understand this and use it as an opportunity to set an example through our actions on how to be a positive influence.

My favorite nanny moment was dancing and singing in the kitchen with a little boy I was watching. He really wanted to play his favorite songs, so we did and we had a blast!! I taught him how to dance to the Macarena and he loved it! We both had so much fun and that is definitely one of my favorite memories!
