The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is being there for the kids and the parents. Being able to multitask and still keep an eye on the kids, or if the parents need some extra help with the kids your should be able to put aside your schedule and be there for the kids and the parents 100%.
My experience with special needs children...
I cared for many special needs children, but the ones I cared for more frequently, were speech impediments and Down syndrome.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment would have to be when a kid I was watching, had been making me an art piece and he said he was going to “go grab something from the closet” and came back with a green bucket on his head and a eyeball taped on the front of it. He said “LOOK BELA IM PLANKTON”. At first I didn’t get it, but he had been watching Sponge-Bob all day, so I bursted out laughing, and we laughed together for what seemed like hours!
