I am a very easygoing person and I love when the kids are having fun as well as enriching their minds. Whether they prefer to be outside playing games, sports, tag, enjoying/learning about the nature (ext) or staying inside doing arts and crafts, reading books, or building forts. I am a very creative and imaginative person so I am always creating new things to do. I understand all children are very different and each need to be accommodated differently to best suit their individual needs and wants.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Patience is a virtue, and is key when dealing with children. As well as laying down the rules but in a fair way that allows the child room to feel like their making their own decisions while tending to the rules of the home. Also just a general sense of understanding, I always do my best to put my self in others shoes. Once you understand how someone feels especially children you can connect with them better and get what needs to be done done more effectively and efficiently.
