Absolutely everything. I enjoy doing make believe of pretending we are fairies in a magical land or cowboys in the wild, Wild West. I enjoy making arts and crafts and showing them all new tricks or them showing me tricks. I’ve enjoyed absolutely every moment of every activity.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making a kid happy and helping parents who need help whether it be just an extra set of hands for a new mother or someone to watch their kid while working. I also enjoy getting to be a kid again and pretend eating wood chips, when in reality you’re just throwing it behind your shoulder and acting like it’s the most delicious meal in the world.
My experience with special needs children...
I have not but I am willing to try and help if you do have a special needs kid. I will research it so I have more knowledge and of course ask you for their medical history. If I am not a good fit I fully understand as I would want someone who has experience but I’d gladly do it.
The most important part about being a nanny...
It’s so hard to pinpoint as it’s been wonderful the whole time, but I do have some very fun memories. Whether it was playing video games with them when it was allowed by the parents, playing outside and making random personas or characters out of anything that I can make anything into some talking character and having a kid do that deep laugh from a random goofy voice it melts away any stress.
