I am a student Aid through Blue Ridge special education preschool. It is an offered elective that I take: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. I interact with kids for an hour, who have a verity of disabilities. I have a letter of recommendation through them, which I will be willing to provide once you contact me.
My experience with special needs children...
My little sister, six, is a special needs kid. She is neurologically delayed and has suspected Autism. I am used to being around kids with various disabilities, including speech impediments, none verbal, g-tube users, and those with uncontrolled emotional outbursts. Through Blue Ridge, I am a student aid, and spend three hours of a school week working with kids special needs kids.
