More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

For the past two years, I have had the pleasure of babysitting a lovely 2-year-old, providing me with invaluable hands-on experience caring for young children. During this time, I’ve developed a strong understanding of toddler needs, from creating age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration and learning to managing daily routines, such as meals and nap times. I’ve learned how to effectively communicate with toddlers, using play and positive reinforcement to guide their behavior. This experience has not only enhanced my caregiving skills but has also deepened my passion for nurturing and supporting children's development during these formative years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I truly enjoy a wide range of activities with children that foster both fun and learning. One of my favorites is organizing arts and crafts sessions, where we can unleash our creativity with painting, drawing, and simple DIY projects. I also love engaging in interactive storytime, reading aloud and encouraging kids to share their thoughts about the stories. Outdoor play is another highlight, whether it's going on nature walks, playing tag, or setting up obstacle courses to promote physical activity. Additionally, I enjoy cooking simple recipes together, which not only teaches basic skills but also offers a delicious reward at the end. These activities create meaningful moments and help nurture curiosity and imagination in children!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting and nurturing relationship with the children in my care. This connection creates a safe space where they feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their interests. It's essential to be attentive to their emotional and developmental needs, offering support and guidance as they navigate their world. Being a positive role model and providing consistent encouragement not only helps them grow but also fosters their confidence and independence. Ultimately, being a nanny is about creating a loving environment where children can thrive, learn, and feel valued, which is incredibly rewarding for both them and me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when the family took me to Volcano Bay for a day of fun and adventure. Watching the 2-year-old's eyes light up as we explored the colorful water park was unforgettable. We spent hours splashing in the wave pool, and I loved how fearless she was as she giggled while floating on a little raft. Seeing her joy and excitement throughout the day reminded me of the simple pleasures of childhood, and I felt grateful to be a part of such a special family outing. It was a wonderful experience that strengthened our bond and created lasting memories.
