I currently serve part time in the US AF as a AFE technician. I have about 7 years of childhood and education experience. I was a lead teacher and filled in other leading positions at my old job. I love exploring nature with children. Being a teacher I’ve learned children do best when being outside. With me there are many activities and opportunities to enjoy being outside. Collecting bugs and leaves and flowers. With younger kiddos I emphasize the importance of sensory play.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is how huge of an impact my role is. Children role model and take after imitation. Their first teachers are parents and caregivers. I know that providing the best safety and care for my children leads to successful and healthy habits.

My experience with special needs children...

During my time at the cdc’s we’re required to go through annual trainings and working beside behavioral therapy analysis to learn ways to improve and help children. I’ve had several children who were autistic and I educated myself to better help them working along with parents and coming up developmental plans.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment is when children get ready to leave and they run to give me a hug goodbye, regardless of the day what was had I love that my children have always found comfort in that I’m always going to be there for them.
