I have cared for many kids in my neighborhood since I was twelve. I was also in a program in high school that had us go to an elementary school and help the kids with their work.

I enjoy doing creative things with kids or playing outside. Whether it's drawing or kicking a ball around. I also like to turn things into learning experiences, like asking what type of flowers we might find when playing outside and then looking them up.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Just talking to the kids is memorable for me. It's refreshing to see a kid get excited about a doodle they did or just going to get ice cream. It makes me remember that the small things are important, too.
