When going outside, I enjoy going on bike rides (or scooters, or skates, or the child's preference), exploring nature, having picnics, or playing in water.

i used to nanny for a little girl (5), and one week, we went to the park every day that week because it was so nice out. We made up a whole world where she was an astronaut on a mission, and different play ground parts were different worlds or rockets or equipment, and we kept building the story together, and she would always fall asleep in the car on the ride home before we made dinner.
