My experience with special needs children...
I also have personal experience working with children with special needs. My younger sister has Down syndrome and is very low functioning, which has given me a deep understanding of the patience, compassion, and consistency that are so important in care. Growing up alongside her has taught me how to follow important precautions, adapt to different needs, and provide a safe and supportive environment. Because of this, I feel very comfortable and confident caring for children with a wide range of abilities.
