Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've volunteered and counseled at a children's summer camp for 2 summers, a caretaker for family members' children ranged from ages 0 (newborn-infant) to age 13 for many years. I have tutoring experience, experience babysitting and tutoring young children such as a 7 year old girl, slight experience working with children with health and special needs, as well as experience caring for pets, light housekeeping, and experience in healthcare, and wellness background.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to play games, board games, outside time, games in general, as well as mind-stimulating games to help children's development! I believe childhood is a crucial time in a person's life that sets them up for success and healthy regulation in their future. I think healthy amounts of play, interaction, socialization, as well as joy, and childlike wonder, are vital to a child's health and wellbeing, while incorporating mental stimulation to help challenge and develop their cognitive functions while still enjoying their time! I also think it's important to get to know each child and their interest, to nourish their talents and individuality at a young age, that could one day blossom into something positive and a beautiful passion for them as they grow older and discover their own talents.

I don't have much experience with special needs children, although I have cared for children of relatives who do have special needs, cognitively, emotionally, and medically. I believe that each child deserves dedication, patience, and special care, no matter their background or unique experiences as they grow through the world.
