I worked at the Northern Lights YMCA, seeing over a classroom of 18+ kids. I frequently switched from room to room, ages ranging from 3 months to 7 years old. I worked mostly with the age group 5-7 year olds. Before that, I have been an older cousin, family friend, and sibling my entire life, so I have varied experience in ages.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I have always enjoyed the art of creation! Whether it’s drawing, paper crafts, or building, you never know what children will come up with. And although I’m not familiarized with any instruments (other than the ukulele), I love to sing and dance! Dancing is a very fun and effective way to get kids to exercise.
