Hi I'm Jacki I started babysitting at 11 years old,after high-school I was a preschool teacher for awhile. I have worked with caring for newborns to adults. I was a legal guardian for 3 special needs children for 4 years as well as 5 children for 13 years. I've worked with autistic children and I currently babysit 3 boys the youngest is 3 and he has down syndrome I work with him everyday and have made some great progress. With permission from parents i do enjoy outings like indoor play areas,parks,restaurants, swimming with provided pictures and videos for the parents comfort.Even tho I do babysit with him starting school my hours of availability have opened up greatly. I've got twenty plus years experience, I can cook and clean up as well. I am CPR Certified and I love and care for all children and animals as if they were my own

Ive also been a professional cab driver in which we drive children and special needs children on a daily basis to and from school and school activities. I've recently been watching 3 boys the youngest is 3 and has down syndrome I feel I've made some great progress with him.

Ive worked with children who have seizures, children who were abused ,mental retardation,down syndrome, Autism, ADD,ADHD,PTSD,OCD

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have alot of favorite moments from a 3 yr old with down syndrome who is non verbal learning to wave from working with him everyday to taking him to an indoor play area watching him learn to climb not crawl
To children I was a live in nanny for 13 years tell me they are where they are today bc of me
Everything I do feels rewarding the most rewarding part is just knowing these children are safe and being well cared for once you start watching children you instantly start truly caring for them
