Keeping kiddos emotionally and physically safe. It should be fun when you are babysat. Someone is there to care, with out any distractions (other than some cleaning up along the way so family does not come home to a mess). I will never leave a house with a sink full of dishes

The most important part about being a nanny...

Probably when I introduced a couple of girls under 10 to shrinky dinks. Mom knew what they were but the kids had never heard of them. They drew their favorite doodles on that flimsy scratchy plastic and then we threw them in the oven and they watched their masterpieces come to life. That was great day
