More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I used to work at Cuvilly Arts and Earth Center preschool for about two years. It was such a lovely time engaging with the children every day, I learned so much and I got to spend a lot of quality time outdoors with the children. My time there, I took a child developmental course in which I graduated in May of this year. I also currently work at Lifetime fitness as a kids instructor, I also do swim lessons.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spending outdoors with children. There’s something about being outside that really connects you to nature, to grow a strong love for it. Anything that has to do with exercise or hiking is great. I also love doing arts and crafts and anything music related. But, at the end of the day, whatever the child loves I love as well!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny in my eyes, is making the child feel safe, of course. A big part of making the child feel safe is just being silly with them. I love cracking jokes, and creating a very fun environment for them.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked alongside children with special needs within my two years at the preschool I used to work at. It wasn’t every day that I did but a few days a week.

The most important part about being a nanny...

There was one specific moment of a child. I used to teach, and I hadn’t seen her in a long time. Her parents reached out to me for nanny help, and when I walked in, she had the brightest smile on her face and yelled my name and ran to me to give me a hug. I think it’s something that I will always remember. It was just a very sweet moment.
