A little bit about me

During high school I was employed at a Parks and Recreation Dept. I was to set up daily activities for the morning and evening children that attended. Ages ranged from 3 to 13-being active with up to 15 children at one time.
During college I was a nanny for a family who live in Rice, near St. Cloud, MN, for 2 younger boys-ages 4 and 9. I would go to their house 3 times per week and other days where I was needed. I did activities with them and was involved even outside of babysitting them, such as attending their yearly March of Dimes. After college I was a manager at Hollister (retail clothing store), but left and nannied an amazing 1-year-old little boy for one year in Fargo, ND. I then moved to California and was on-call 2-year-old girl in Santa Monica. In 2017 I nannied a 7-year-old girl in Marina Del Rey; I would pick her up from school and be there with her through the evening- homework, dinner, hang out, bedtime routine.

Anything they enjoy doing, I have a great time playing along. Cognitive activities I engage with them are: puzzles, read books, play matching card games, number and alphabets, etc. I love to draw, color, paint, or anything arts and crafts. I love being active outdoors and do anything active they would enjoy doing.

Making sure the child can feel safe and have fun around you. Being there for the child and knowing that they can count on you.

I watched a one year old boy and got him off the 'WubbaNub' within the year. Also dancing with him and thier dog Walley was my favorite memory.
