The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is making sure all needs are met. Everyone needs to feel safe and comfortable. I always try to do my very best with that. This not only includes the child, but also the parents. Nobody's going to trust there children with a stranger unless they feel that they can be beneficial and a good fit for the family. If all members of the family feel safe and comfortable, then you've found the right nanny.
My experience with special needs children...
I've cared for kids who are on the spectrum. I've worked with kids who have down syndrome. I've worked with kids who have mental health. I like to make sure I can meet all needs that apply. Wether that would be helping with medication or making sure your child feels comfortable with their surroundings.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I'd say my favorite nanny moment was when the child I care for gave me a hug and told me I was her best friend. When I first met her, she didnt want me there. That's understandable though because it's hard sometimes having a new face. Now when I come, shes happy to be with me and sad when i leave. Shes such an Amazing child. I'm so happy to be the best nanny that I can be for her.😊
