I’ve also worked at Rancho Mirage High School as a teacher’s assistant for special ed students, which taught me a lot about patience, communication, and supporting kids with different needs. I was also apart of the Medical Health Academy at LQHS, where I learned important safety skills, including CPR and AED training. It taught me how to stay calm, aware, and prepared in any situation.

I enjoy doing arts and crafts with kids, reading stories, playing outside, and letting them get creative with imagination games. I like helping with simple learning activities, doing puzzles or board games, and even baking easy snacks together. I’m also great with chill activities like drawing, Legos, or putting on a movie when they need quiet time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, caring, and fun environment where kids feel supported and understood. It’s about being patient, attentive, and reliable while also making time to play, teach, and connect with them. Helping children feel happy and secure is always my top priority.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with special needs children from my time as a teacher’s assistant at Rancho Mirage High School. I supported students with different learning and communication needs, helped with classroom activities, and learned how to be patient, adaptable, and understanding. It taught me how to give each child the support they need while still making them feel included, safe, and confident.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I was babysitting two little girls, and one of them thought it was absolutely hilarious to start shooting spitballs at me while the other hid my shoes so I “couldn’t leave.” We all ended up laughing, and it reminded me how fun and unpredictable kids can be and how easy it is to build a real bond with them.
