The most important aspect of being a nanny is patience. You never know what will happen when dealing with kids so it’s good to have a laid back personality.
My experience with special needs children...
I actually do have experience with special needs children within my own family. A few of my cousins are mute and unable to walk, but we loved doing puzzles together. I also have experience with kids dealing with down syndrome.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I had the kids snuggled around me while I was reading a book to them. They fell asleep on the couch and I carried them to bed until their parents got home.
