I would say that the most important thing about being a nanny or just a childcare worker in general is that we form a lot of early childhood memories. Because of that we must know how to make sure a child is not only healthy but also playful.
My experience with special needs children...
At the daycare that I had worked at there was quite a few special needs children with autisim and the spectrum varied. I am an emotional person and so I feel like that helps with the way that I can somewhat get on a child’s level when they are struggling mentally and calmly resolve any issues affecting them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment/moments is when we play. Laughter fuels me and so I’m very big on getting some silly time in with my kiddo or kiddos.
