More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am the eldest of my grandmother’s grandchildren & the eldest of my cousins , I’ve been babysitting for a while in my family because I’m trusted and I take my position in childcare very seriously as others should do as well. I started babysitting at age 13 ( making actual money ) for my family and ever since I’ve never stopped showing my compassion for taking care of others . Another experience I’ve had was in High school I took Health & Human Growth Development courses and learned about from the stages of life from newborn to adult, I am well informed about the critics of life in general. Additionally I volunteered at Rock Prairie here in College Station to give extra help & to help the teachers out during certain programs, what I enjoyed best about volunteering is I’ve meet so many wonderful little blessings with amazing personalities with a big future ahead of themselves they just harm my heart ❤️. And I hope I can find a family who can see why I love to do what I do ! .
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor activities I’ve done in the past/ current I work with babies all the way up to toddlers so when it’s a rainy day and we cant go outside , my classroom of kids loves the bubble machine and we sing nursery rhymes and learn the curriculum of the week we go by CSISD curriculum for the age group that I work with now currently. Another activity we do inside is we make artwork for the kids to send home like finger painting, creative crafts we come up with like pipe cleaner flowers . Something that is unique and valuable to cherish forever. Since I work with babies I also tend to play with them & get into their imaginations free play is so fun I love being able to play with the kids & it brings my creativity & imagination back to life. Outdoor activities, at my daycare we have a playground so we play outside with the kids and let them play and take a insight of nature , also now that it is summer time we do outdoor activities with water and plenty more and we ask parents for permission.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny, the most important part is creating a safe and loving environment where kids can grow, learn, and just be themselves. It's all about building trust and making a real difference in their lives!. Beyond just safety and love, being a nanny means being a positive role model. It's about teaching kids important values, sparking their curiosity, and helping them develop into confident, kind, and well-rounded individuals. It's incredibly rewarding to see them thrive under your care. Also, being a nanny is about being super adaptable and creative! You've got to be ready to switch gears at a moment's notice, whether it's turning a rainy day into an indoor adventure or coming up with fun, educational activities that match each child's unique interests. It's like being a professional fun-maker!. Ultimately, being a nanny is more than just a job it's a chance to form a special bond with a child and family, leaving a lasting, positive impact on their lives.
My experience with special needs children...
At my current job we have a couple of kids with special needs , I’ve taken trainings before I I got hired about kids who have special needs and needs certain things. I was raised that everyone are the same and here at my classroom we treat everyone equally and as the same because us people we are all the same! It can be tuff sometimes but you gotta keep yourself motivated and take it a day at a time . Working with kids who have special needs has taught me so much about patience, creativity, and the importance of celebrating every small victory! It's super rewarding to help them grow and discover their own unique strengths. I remember this other child who struggled with reading. We tried all sorts of different methods, but nothing seemed to click until we started using interactive games. Suddenly, they were excited to read, and their skills improved so much! Seeing that spark of excitement and the progress they made was really unforgettable.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One time, I was looking after my little cousin who was super into superheroes. We spent the whole afternoon building a fort out of blankets and pillows, pretending it was our secret headquarters. At the end of the day, she gave me this huge hug and said I was the best superhero sidekick ever! It was just a simple day, but it felt really special. One of my favorite daycare moments is when kids who were shy at first start making friends and playing together! It's so cool to see them come out of their shells and build those connections it’s so wholesome.

Anytime I’m at an event and there are kids there, you’ll most likely find me playing with the kids. I used to be a gymnastics coach and I mainly worked with kids 18 months to 6 years old.
