One of my favorite kiddos loves buttered rolls. It was his main request at dinner time. One day, he had a rough emotional day, we got through it, and he went to bed. My shift was over and I was defeated driving home. I get home and go to grab something out of my bag, and he left one of his rolls for me. It’s been something to stick with me in my life, sometimes you have to find your butter bread roll for the day.
