A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Jaime. I have been around infants, toddlers, and school-aged children for most of my life. My mom had an in-home daycare that she started when I was 10 years old. I spent a lot of time facilitating age-appropriate learning and free play, assisting with potty training, providing a routine, and also assisting with snack and lunchtime. So many of the children and their families have become a part of our family and we still see them today. Also, I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. I taught 6th grade for 6 years and Special Education (Grades 7-12) for one year. I am First Aid and CPR certified, and I also know how to administer an EPI pen. I left teaching for a job in the government, but have decided to try to go back to doing what I truly love - I love working with and supporting children, helping them to learn and grow. I think it's one of the most rewarding things a person can do!
