A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Jaime and I am a mother to seven children ages 12-28. I am 46 years old and have experience with all ages. I began paid babysitting jobs at the age of 13 and currently work in elementary level Special Education and Resource. While I love my job, I am interested in something a little more one on one that will still allow me to be available during most of the non-school hours.

I'm an avid reader and spend a lot of my spare time doing various crafts. I enjoy knitting, crochet, paper crafts, woodwork, painting, writing, etc. During the summer I enjoy creating mini crafting workshops for the students I work with.

I've had experience in church nurseries, daycares, preschools, elementary school, special education, along with 7 children of my own.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love arts and crafts! I enjoy reading, writing, paper crafts, nature walks, and picnics! I also love quiet activities like movies and books as well. I enjoy daily walks and outside time when the weather is nice :)

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience mostly with different levels of autism, adhd, and diabetes along with a small amount of experience with CP. I am open and willing to learn though!
