I have worked in preschool for 13years and with school aged children for 7years. I have worked with children from infancy to 8th grade.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and crafts with children. I am an artist so I love drawing custom coloring pages for children. I am a bit of a video game nerd as well so I love playing games with children. I have enough patience to play board games as well. I love doing water activities with the kids outside. Water balloon fights and always a summer must. Dance parties are also a staple of mine.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is being the cool fun extra crazy person in a childs life. Being that person who can be a friend but also be taken seriously. It's a bond that is very different from a typically big sister roll. I get to be personal and close with the kids like a family member but they can still respect me and understand boundaries.

My experience with special needs children...

I have had several years working with special needs children directly either as an aid or one one one situations. I have worked in schools with all inclusion programs so I had a mix of children including atypical ones within my care as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of the funniest moments babysitting would be the first time I babysat for the family I currently babysit for on occasions. All the kids were asleep and I went and watched Bob Ross while waiting for the parents to come home. They thought I was crazy! They now get me Bob Ross related gifts.
