Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I have never nannied near the coast so I am most excited to build a sandcastle. But activities I love would include: aquariums, parks, I've taken kids to go camping for a day, bakes donuts, put on plays, met with other nanny kids and I planned a party for every holiday, built so many forts, taught them how to draw a self portrait. There's too many to name.
If they love princesses, there's a lot we can do.

The most important part about being a nanny...
EVERYTHING. There's not a word they don't absorb. They are learning so much and it's the adults they are copying. You have to be a role model everyday.
Otherwise, It's making sure they are safe, heard, and loved. The most important thing is them.

My experience with special needs children...
When I was in High School I was very involved with the special needs program for 3 years and volunteered for a lot of events. I don't have extensive adult experiences but I would never shy away from gaining more experience. I truly loved every moment in peer tutoring.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I wish this prompt said "moments" because I would say: When one of the girls took her first step, when the other started sounded out letters and starting spelling words, when they would sing their hearts out to their favorite song. But my favorites were when we went camping for a day and when we had "slow mornings" where we sat on the porch with coffee (chocolate milk for them) and we chatted about our week. What we liked and what we may not have liked and so on.
