Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Like I mentioned in my “about me” portion of my profile, I’ve been around kids and babies my entire life. I also spent a semester during my senior year of high school volunteering at a women and children’s shelter/home and my main responsibility was taking care of the babies and toddlers while their moms were in weekly parenting classes.

Making sure that the kids feel safe and comfortable with you and know that you genuinely do care for them and want to make sure they’re as happy and healthy as possible

My experience with special needs children...

I haven’t specifically cared for a special needs child on a routine basis, but I grew up with special needs classmates and one of my friends from high school had her daughter VERY early and she has some disabilities because of that. So I do have some experience helping with special needs individuals, just not specifically caring for them as far as a nannying role goes.
