I grew up with two younger sisters! Ive helped take care of and babysit plenty of nieces and nephews as well. I have a sister who is two and half and a 7 month old brother, who i love and miss to bits and pieces. So to sum that up I grew up surrounded by babies and have a love for nurturing them!!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating fun arts and crafts that help foster creativity while being informative. Im huge on nature so I try and include that as well because it’s amazing for big and little minds alike!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is to set boundaries while also being loving and kind to the children. To not only teach respect, but show it! I was taught this early in life not only by my grandmother who raised me but by the coaches that preached wisdom over me!
My experience with special needs children...
In high school I took classes where i got to work with special needs kids/teens. I loved it, they’re sweet and deserve as much respect and love as anyone else. It was an amazing experience. I also grew up around all kinds of kids back home in texas, along with having learning disabilities myself, so I'm used to different minds and learning levels + languages.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite thing about getting to help raise children is when I’ve taught them something new and it clicks for them! We both get to laugh and smile. I cherish and miss those moments as an older sister who moved away for college!
