The Calhoun Family - Hiring in Atlanta
The Calhoun Family
Grant Park, Atlanta$25/hr  |  2 kids
Hello! We are a family that values culturally relevant education for our children (ages 5 and 3).

We believe our nanny is an extension of our family and should be treated with respect and dignity. We were hoping you could become a trusted member of our family!

We take serious COVID precautions and require our nanny to be fully vaccinated with the booster and mask while we figure out how to navigate this new variant. My children attend schools that require mask-wearing. Our family takes PCR tests weekly, and we're vaccinated and masked when we are with people outside of our home.

We need carpool transportation from school, help with homework and dinner, bedtime, meal prep, lunch packing, and light housekeeping—also very light petcare with our 13-year-old Shih Tzu for feeding and letting out when needed.

The kids love playing outdoors (bike riding, park, gardening), board games, and dance parties! My son is starting to learn chess, and my daughter takes ballet.

The children need help with homework, cleaning up, brushing and flossing teeth, and bedtime.

Monday-Thursday schedule:
2:30 pm - Pick up 1st child
2:45 pm - 3:15 pm - Pick up 2nd child
4:00 pm - Arrive back home for afternoon snacks, outdoor play, park time
5:00 pm - Start dinner, begin homework
6:00 pm - Dinner is served
7:00 pm - Clean up and begin the bedtime routine
8:00 pm - Read bedtime stories
8:15 pm - Lights out
Light tidying, laying out uniforms and packing lunch for the next day, loading dishwasher, then clocking out.

Fridays are negotiable
*Additional flexibility during the day to help with virtual school in the event of in-person school closure is a PLUS!

Are you a master at home organizing? Are you great at running errands? If you want additional hours outside of the required childcare activities, I have a household list we can tackle.

This can be a full-time or part-time position.
