I have greater than 20 years experience working with children of all ages. I have a Master’s degree in Social Work and another Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I provided in-home kindergarten readiness training to children beginning at birth through five years old. I coordinated an after school tutoring and mentoring program for elementary age children. I worked as a crisis care professional in a shelter for adolescence. I taught Spanish to middle school students. I coordinated nursery and children’s church programming. I fostered a toddler in my home. I find children to be highly inspirational and a great pleasure to be around. I believe structure and realistic expectations foster feelings of security, stability and belonging in children’s hearts.
