I've perviously volunteered for my local church's summer camp as a counselor and craft cordinator. I lead a small group through meal time, water play, reading, and interacted the camp as a whole through craft time. I've also tutored children from the local elementary school offering homework help when needed. Mainly, I babysit for family and close family friends.

Outdoor activities would include walks, hikes, park days, or picnics in the backyard!
Indoors activities could be movie days, Crafting, board games, or anything the children have in mind as long as it's safe and appropriate.

To me the most important part about being a nanny is the relationship that is build with not only the child but the parent as well. If there is trust and good communication you can do your job affectively and comfortably. With that the child thrives more and is able to get along with the nanny making the environment fun and lively for everyone.

I don't think I have one specific moment in mind. But, every so often when Im caring for one of my kiddos I enjoy making snacks and watching movies. I feel like often times kids like to do their own thing so having small moments with them where we can talk and laugh all the more feels special.
